Role of the Parent Advisory Council:

 

Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Miami School Parent Advisory Council is to ensure that Miami School provides our children with a solid educational foundation to prepare them for their future.  Our mission will be accomplished through working in partnership with parents, school staff, the division, the community and the students themselves.

 

 

Goals and Objectives

 

1.  To develop good ongoing working relationships between parents, school staff, the division staff and board, the community and students.

 

2.  To assist in providing a school environment that is engaging, challenging, secure and enhances the students' love of learning.

 

3.  To promote a school environment that enables staff to do their best work and take pride in their profession.

 

4.  To encourage and enable life long learning.
